Novita Convoy for Kids
To celebrate Novita’s 75th and the CMV Group’s 80th birthdays, Convoy for Kids is returning!
Join the festivities at the 19th Convoy Carnival, a family fun day full of fabulous entertainment including jumping castles, Plaster Funhouse, glitter artists and face painters, live performances, a 'Show n Shine' competition and more! Plus a special guest appearance from Disney Pixar’s Cars’ Mack the Truck the Transporter!
More than 60 trucks of various sizes will converge on inner city Adelaide later this year in a bid to raise funds for South Australian children living with disabilities.
Returning to Adelaide after a five year hiatus, the Novita Children’s Services’ popular ‘Convoy for Kids’ will see the trucks driving a 7km circuit in convoy near Adelaide’s CBD on Sunday 2 November. The Convoy will conclude with a family fun day - the Convoy Carnival.

More information about Novita
One of the most exciting aspects to the Convoy for Kids is the opportunity it offers for children with disabilities and their siblings to experience the ‘ride of a lifetime’ in a big rig as a convoy passenger.
Convoy for Kids was started over 20 years ago by Novita and a group of dedicated people from the transport industry and the Lion’s Club of Elizabeth, who had a desire to help children with disabilities.
The needs of children with a disability and their families are broad and complex, which is why events like this are so important. Funds raised will help us to work with children and families as well as develop important infrastructure and implement the latest innovations in clinical practice.
The CMV Group is excited to assist Novita in this year’s Convoy for Kids. Watching these children in the trucks, and seeing the joy on their faces is something that we find incredibly special and are honoured to be a part of. We’re hoping truckies from all over South Australia will join in to help raise money for Novita. The organisation does amazing work with kids across the state, and an event like this is not only a fantastic family day out, but also unites us all in giving something back to our community.
Novita Children’s Services is a nationally recognised leader in child development, rehabilitation and disability services to more than 2000 children and young people in South Australia living with disabilities.
