At CMV Group, delivering outstanding products and services matters, but nothing is more important than making sure every one of our employees gets home safely to the people who matter most to them.
Safety at CMV is a shared responsibility. As an organisation, we are committed to providing a safe working environment, the right tools for the job and the training needed to work safely. In return, we ask our people to take a moment, before every task, to stop, assess their surroundings and think about the risks.
Our Take 5 for Safety approach encourages everyone to pause, consider what could go wrong, and make the safe choice, especially in high‑risk environments such as workshops, dealerships and our CMV Farms operations, where heavy machinery and vehicles are part of everyday work.
Backed by our Health and Safety Committee, Take 5 for Safety was rolled out across all CMV Group sites in 2017 and remains a key part of how we build safer habits, safer decisions and safer outcomes, every task, every day with the ultimate goal of zero harm.
Because when it comes to safety, taking five can make all the difference.
SITEPASS: CMV Contractor Management
Having issues? Contact the Sitepass helpdesk:
Further information about the system is available by searching the Sitepass knowledgebase.
For existing contractors who have had their accounts migrated from the previous version of Sitepass, please review the Sitepass migration FAQs before contacting the helpdesk.
Why do we have CMV Group Contractor Management?
Most contractor staff entering and working within our business premises are required to have successfully completed the CMV Group Contractor Online Induction - this requirement is dependent on the work that they are performing. Contractor staff reporting to a site without being appropriately registered in SitePass may be asked to leave, or complete the process prior to starting work. We believe that the content of this program will play an important role in raising the awareness of WHS and from this, reducing the potential for injury to everyone who comes onto one of our sites.
The standard you walk past is the standard you set.
