Introducing Project FUSE


We are excited to introduce Project FUSE - an important step forward in how we work, collaborate, and serve our customers across South Central Truck & Bus and CMV Truck & Bus. 

Today, many of our processes vary across dealerships, Project FUSE will help us operate more consistently and effectively.

Project FUSE is about aligning our dealerships with Volvo Group’s global platforms and ways of working (WPP & Infinity Loop). This means introducing new systems and standardised processes across all dealerships.

What are the new systems?
Dealer Pro will be transitioning to the following new systems, which will integrate with other Volvo systems. 

GDS - service and parts 
Dealer Point - sales 
Microsoft Dynamics 365 - finance 

Standardised Processes
Improvements will extend beyond new systems to more standardised day-to-day ways of working - making tasks simpler, reducing duplication, and ultimately making your job easier.

What is Project FUSE?

Project FUSE is a business-wide transformation to align South Central Truck & Bus and CMV Truck & Bus dealerships with Volvo Group’s global systems and ways of working, introducing new systems and standardised processes across all dealerships

Why are we making this change?

This change is driven by Volvo Group to align all dealerships to global systems and processes. It also creates an opportunity for South Central Truck & Bus and CMV Truck & Bus to standardise how we work, improve visibility, and better connect to Volvo’s future technology and upgrades.

Is this just a system upgrade?

No. This is a broader change to how we work. It includes new systems (GDS, Dealer Point, Dynamics Microsoft 365), more standardised processes and changes to day-to-day ways of working.

What does “standardised ways of working” mean?

It means all dealerships will follow the same processes and systems, improve consistency and make it easier to work together across businesses.

How will this impact me?

Your core role will remain the same, but how you complete your work may change. You’ll be using new systems and following more standardised processes.

When will the change happen?

Project FUSE will be rolled out in stages, including training and support for you before, during, and after go-live. Over the coming months, we’ll continue to share updates on Project FUSE which is about building a more connected, consistent, and future-ready business. 

What training will I receive?

You will complete role-based training through Volvo’s Navigator program, along with structured onboarding and ongoing support.

What support will be available?

Support will be available before, during and after go-live, including local support, change champions, and help resources.
