On the 26th February, the CMV Group celebrated its 80th year as a proud, family-owned and operated enterprise. The Group’s origins trace back to 1934 and first began as a small motor dealer in Adelaide. The CMV Group now employs more than 1,200 people across a wide range of professions and has established itself as an employer of choice within the automotive and agricultural industries.

This 80 year achievement is important in recognising the incredible contribution that our staff continue to make to each and every business we operate. To celebrate on the day, 80th year anniversary themed cupcakes, wine and commemorative badges were delivered to each division across Australia for staff to enjoy a morning tea together.

To date, the CMV Group’s interests cover the road transport industry, buses, passenger vehicles, light commercials and 4WD vehicles as well as major viticultural and horticultural interests.

The values of the business over the past 80 years have remained the same; a genuine interest in both our customers and employees, optimism, integrity in all dealings and a concern for the wider community in which we live.
