It was with great pleasure that the CMV Group Foundation, in conjunction with our own CMI Toyota, recently supported another incredible charity. Treasure boxes are a South Australian not-for-profit children's charity who provide vital essentials to newborns, babies and children living in disadvantage within our community. Through gifting essential children’s goods to families at risk of poverty, homelessness and domestic violence, they alleviate severe hardship, financial burden, reduce the risk of poverty and homelessness, ease trauma and provide hope to those most vulnerable.
David Crawford (CMV Farms Managing Director and one of the CMV Group Foundation's trustees) and Karen Joyce (CMV Group Foundation Secretary) were pleased to present Rikki Cooke (Treasure Boxes CEO & Founder) with the keys to a new Toyota Kluger, which was proudly donated to Treasure Boxes by the CMV Group Foundation.
Proudly featuring the Treasure Boxes eye-catching colour and messaging, this Toyota Kluger will play an important role in ensuring that vital essentials reach South Australian families in need. Recently, Treasure Boxes were able to deliver these items to an expecting family south of Adelaide, saying:
“Thanks to CMI Toyota & CMV Group we were recently able to deliver a complete nursery set to a family living far south of Adelaide. With a baby on the way, we were able to provide this amazing family with newborn clothes and toys, a safe wooden change table, cot, bottle set and nappies to get them started.
Now they’ve been given a helping hand, Dad and Mum are able to focus on the joys of raising a newborn, rather than worrying how they will provide a safe environment for bub 👶”
We look forward to seeing their vehicle out on the road continuing their important work!
