The CMV Group 25 Year Service Dinner is one of the most special events on our calendar, recognising and celebrating employees who have dedicated 25 years or more of service to CMV Group. It is an opportunity to honour the people, experiences and contributions that have helped shape our family-owned business over the years.
This year’s CMV Group 25 Year Service Dinner was held at Hotel Panorama, bringing together employees and Group Directors from across the business, along with guests from Melbourne, to celebrate and welcome our newest inductees into the 25 Year Service Club.
We are incredibly proud to celebrate your achievements and grateful to have you as part of the CMV Group story.
The annual dinner is a longstanding CMV Group tradition, first established over a decade ago to recognise the loyalty, commitment and achievements of our long-serving employees. Today, the 25 Year Service Club has grown to include 50 members across the CMV Group, with 30 joining us in person for this year’s celebration.
The employees in attendance represented an incredible 1,192 collective years of service. This remarkable milestone reflects the dedication, experience and loyalty of the people who have played an important role in CMV Group’s history and continued growth.
Our 25 Year Service Club members are a valuable knowledge base for the company. They are the people who remember where CMV Group has come from, who have helped shape our story and who continue to appreciate and live by our values every day.
Their experience and commitment are an important part of what makes CMV Group special, reflecting the strong relationships, shared values and people-first culture at the heart of our family business.
A highlight of the evening was celebrating the career journeys of our three newest inductees, each representing a different part of CMV Group and bringing their own unique story of growth, dedication and achievement.
We proudly welcomed the following employees into the CMV Group 25 Year Service Club:
- Deanne Crawford – Riverland Almonds
- Ian Vagg – CMV Truck & Bus Fleet Management, Cobden
- Steve Doneski – CMV Truck & Bus, Derrimut
From sorting belts in the Riverland, to tanker workshops in Cobden, to the parts counter at Derrimut, Dee, Ian and Steve have each built their own unique career within CMV Group.
While their journeys have taken different paths across the business, there is a common thread running through all three stories: people who started somewhere, backed themselves and grew with the business.
As a family business, this is something we are incredibly proud of. Their stories reflect the opportunities available across CMV Group, the value of long-term relationships and the dedication of the people who continue to contribute to our success.
It was a privilege to share Dee, Ian and Steve’s stories and officially welcome them into this special club, recognising not only their 25 years of service, but also the contribution they have made to their respective businesses and to CMV Group as a whole.
The CMV Group 25 Year Service Dinner is about more than celebrating a significant career milestone. It is an opportunity to bring together colleagues from across the Group, reconnect with familiar faces, share stories and reflect on the people and experiences that have helped shape our organisation.
With more than a decade of history behind this tradition, the 25 Year Service Club remains an important way to recognise the loyalty, knowledge and commitment of our long-serving employees. Their contribution continues to influence our culture, support our growth and help shape the future of CMV Group.
Congratulations to Dee, Ian and Steve on their induction into the CMV Group 25 Year Service Club and a heartfelt thank you to all our employees with 25 or more years of service for your outstanding dedication and contribution.
