The CMV Group Annual Staff Dinner is one of the most anticipated events on our calendar, bringing employees and their guests together to recognise the achievements of our people, celebrate the strength of our businesses and enjoy a memorable evening of shared celebration.

This year, the CMV Group Annual Staff Dinners were held in both Adelaide and Melbourne, giving employees and their guests across the Group the opportunity to come together, reflect on the year, celebrate achievements and recognise the people who continue to make CMV Group what it is.

The venues were once again decked out spectacularly, with impressive displays of new and historic vehicles, along with an almond shaker from our CMV Farms Loxton property, creating a memorable backdrop for both evenings. Guests also had the opportunity to capture lasting memories at the 360-photo booth, while entertainment throughout the night helped create a warm and celebratory atmosphere.

It was wonderful to have Kelly Golding MC this year’s dinners. Kelly previously joined CMV Group for our 85-year celebrations and brought a great sense of energy, professionalism and warmth to the formalities.

The formalities began with an Acknowledgement of Country before guests heard a personal and important safety message. A key moment across both evenings was the launch of CMV Group’s new safety campaign, This is What Safety Protects, which reminded employees and their guests that safety is ultimately about protecting the people, relationships and moments that matter most beyond the workplace.

Chairman David Simmons then addressed guests before Joint Managing Directors Daniel and Miles Crawford reflected on the past year and the Group’s priorities. They acknowledged strong results in many parts of the business, more challenging conditions in others, and the resilience and commitment shown by teams across CMV Group.

Daniel captured the spirit of the night, saying, “Tonight is about celebrating the year and recognising the effort that goes into making CMV Group successful.” Miles also thanked employees for the way they continue to “show up, solve problems, support our customers, back each other and always find ways to get things done.”

They also highlighted FY26 as a year of disciplined internal investment across people, safety, training, facilities, systems and technology, while reinforcing the ongoing evolution of The CMV Way and the Group’s brand promise, Driven by Care. Defined by Impact. Guests also heard more about the impact of the CMV Group Staff Foundation, which contributed more than $250,000 to charities and community groups across our regions over the past year.

The presentation also touched on the Group’s continued focus on customers, staff and the environment, including the role every employee plays in creating great customer experiences and a recent Bio-R volunteering initiative, where CMV Group employees took part in tree planting to help restore habitat and support positive environmental outcomes.

Following the Group update, the evening moved into the CMV Group Employee Excellence Awards. These values-based awards recognise individuals who go above and beyond to bring the CMV Group Values to life, with employees from across the Group invited to nominate colleagues, supervisors or managers who had made an exceptional contribution.

Executive Directors Jono Crawford and Heidi Crawford presented the Employee and Apprentice of the Year Awards in Adelaide, while Jono Crawford and Ross Greig presented the awards in Melbourne. These awards recognise individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to their workplace, their team and the broader CMV Group, consistently going above and beyond in their roles.

To conclude the formalities, CMV Group proudly recognised employees celebrating significant milestones through the Long Service Awards. These awards are an important reminder of the loyalty, experience and commitment within the Group, and CMV sincerely thanks each recipient for their ongoing contribution.

After the formalities concluded, guests enjoyed dessert, live entertainment from The Cast in Adelaide and AstroSoul in Melbourne, and the chance to continue celebrating on the dance floor. It was a fitting end to two nights dedicated to recognising the achievements, service and spirit of our people.
